individual, couples, and collective ceremony

Ceremony is the soulful acknowledgment of a liminal moment in the human lifecycle and is an essential element of all human cultures.
I offer ceremonial spaces for women who feel called to honor meaningful transitions, thresholds, and seasons of change. These gatherings are intentionally created to support reflection, connection, and presence. They may include archetypal awareness, simple ritual elements, songs, art, and shared space that invite participants to mark what is shifting or emerging in their lives. For those who feel drawn to this way of gathering, ceremony can offer a way to bring intention, attention, and care to moments that might otherwise pass unmarked such as:

RELEASING A CHILD for those grieving the loss of a child through miscarriage, stillbirth, abortion, infertility, illness, etc.

CALLING IN A CHILD for those open to pregnancy, adoption, or the fostering of a child

WOMB TRANSITIONS first/last period, pregnancy, postpartum, hysterectomy, etc.

BLESSINGWAY:
This is a three hour circle for expectant mothers, her friends, and family to celebrate, strengthen, and confront relationships prior to the birth of a new child. This is a special time for mothers to voice and receive their wants, needs, and preferences from their mothers, sisters, and community in the perinatal period setting themselves up for an integrated support system after delivery. Some have also incorporated gifts for showering the mother prior to birth.

UNION CEREMONY:
Couples open to children (or those who are already parents) to meet for several pre-union sessions preparing several key dimensions of their relationship (intimacy, conflict resolution, mutual vision). This work culminates in a ceremony which may be part of a wedding or renewal. Union ceremonies are intended for marriages with a commitment to becoming an ancestor that inspires the imitation of children.

Note: All ceremonies are non-clinical, experiential offerings and are not psychotherapy. Participation does not establish a therapeutic relationship. While these spaces can be meaningful and connective, they are not intended for the treatment of mental health conditions. Each participant is responsible for their own experience and level of engagement, and is encouraged to seek additional support from a licensed mental health professional if needed.
