CIRCLES

Psychotherapy rooted in the feminist principle invites practitioners to demystify their work, allowing it to flower beyond closed doors and increasingly into communal openesss, acknowledging the interdependence between individual and collective wellness. These circles of women remain vessels of sacred privacy and are simultaneously an attempt to cultivate a larger trusted community, an impoverished resource amongst most women and especially mothers. I facilitate these groups with a kindred sister in a spirit of transparency, reciprocal transformation, skill sharing, and an ongoing re-folking of the psychotherapy process. Together, we benefit from experiences of conscious conversation, artmaking, nature immersion, visioning, song, movement ritual, and shared meals.

SPRINGMAIDEN CIRCLE - JULY 2025

This is a weeklong in-person initiation for daughters ages 9-16 culminating in an optional ceremony for those anticipating or recently experiencing their first menses. Together, Alex Whyte and I will lead several days in nature and offer a girl’s circle that will continue after the group. It is our hope that these Springmaidens will learn how to support their sisters with a strong and soft heart as they mature through and beyond this season of their development. This week’s offering seeks to provide the relaxed, unstrained conversation about menstruation most of us needed but never received.

SUMMERMOTHER CIRCLE - SEPTEMBER 2025!

First Wednesdays 10:30-12
This is a monthly in-person community circle intended for those who identify as mothers of young children offering respite, reassurance, and reality checks. This is a place to explore the emotional range of motherhood from deep fulfillment to rage, grief, and regret. This group addresses that demands of motherhood exceed the supply of bio/psycho/social/ and spiritual resources generally offered by modern atomized culture. Our hope is for this group to provide a sanctuary for sharing absolutely all feelings around your motherhood but also to midwife the birth of a practical sisterhood of support that can step in when you need an extra set of trusted hands outside of our time together.

Note: This group is open mothers over 18 and those with babes in arms

For those needing childcare, bring your little one in PJs for an organic farm to table dinner and oral story through the Twilight program $20 per child - register here.)

AUTUMNQUEEN CIRCLE - SEPTEMBER 2025
This is a monthly in-person circle for women in the perimenopausal season which usually begins in the mid-40s but can start in the 30s or 50s, lasting for several transformational years . This time of midlife is often a revelation of one's deepest life longings and a reckoning with roles and relationships previously comfortable but now confining. Many experience this time as a second adolescence to culminate in a coming of age. Well supported women often find this a rich and regal entering into their sovereign self discovering an unforseen respect for their embodiment resulting in improved body image and intimacy.

WINTER CIRCLE - COMING IN 2026!
This is a retreat experience for women who have not had their period for at least a full calendar year. You will meet a council of women over 60 who will model what it means to come to culmination. We will then have time to work in smaller groups with art, song, and writing to consider the ultimate meaning of maturation and our mortality.

FIFTHSEASON CIRCLE - COMING IN 2026!
We invite women who do not have children to receive sisterhood from those whose fertile potential has/will be seeded by a gift other than a physical child. This group is welcome to those who are both celebrating and grieving this reality to provide a prism of perspectives in an attempt to embrace this journey in its totality - light and shadow. This group leads women toward recognizing their essential contribution to the collective and especially the public sphere in a culture which can marginalize this experience.
